This table lamp features a long borosilicate glass tube, mounted on a base of black marble and anodized aluminum, often with gold finishes that give it a sophisticated look. The tube can be oriented vertically or at an angle, offering flexibility in positioning and lighting customization. It visually evokes an optical instrument, like a telescope, giving it a dimension that is both playful and mysterious.

In terms of technology, the Frechin Lamp incorporates a powerful LED source (12.4W, 1240 lumens, 2700K) that diffuses a warm, adjustable light thanks to a touch-sensitive dimmer located on the base, offering three intensity levels. This feature, combined with its energy efficiency, makes it as practical as it is aesthetically pleasing. With a 210 cm cable, it can easily be adapted to a variety of spaces, whether living room, bedroom or office.

Jean-Louis Frechin, known for his work in digital design and innovation, wanted to create an object that transcended the simple function of lighting. The lamp becomes a manipulable “interface”, where the user participates in its staging, between science and magic. Noble materials - marble, glass, aluminum - contrast with the modernity of LEDs, offering a unique sensory experience.

Recognized for its excellence, the Frechin Lamp has been part of the permanent collections of the Centre Pompidou and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs since 2022.
