The Portiikki trousers are made of firm organic cotton twill, and they have a relaxed fit and wide, cropped trouser legs. The product contains 3% elastane. The trousers are printed in the Kupoli pattern, and they have a zipper and a hook and eye closure in the front. They have belt loops, side seam pockets, and a faux welt pocket in the back.
Kupoli (dome) features round shapes with vertical sections, depicting a domed ceiling high above with rays of light filtering in through the window. Antti Kekki designed this pattern using strips of paper. This abstract, architectural pattern also bears a certain resemblance to classic Marimekko stripes.
