Description

The coat-hanger is part of our range of accessories and was created to be able to offer a complete storage solution for your hallway and wardrobe, where rods often are added.

The coat-hanger is designed with one extra wire thread to increase functionality and make it possible to hang several clothing items on one coat-hanger.

Each packaging contains four coat-hangers.

Designer

Nisse and Kajsa Strinning


Nisse Strinning, designer of the String System, was a Swedish architect born in northern Sweden in 1917. Nisse designed the first String shelf in 1949 with the help of his wife, Kajsa Strinning.

The couple met while studying at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stocholm. It all began when the Swedish publishing house Bonniers launched a competition to find the perfect shelf. A highly functional shelf with a modern design at a reasonable price.

String won the competition and has since become an icon of Swedish design.
