VerPan, DanishDesign

Designed by Verner Panton in 1980, the Reflect lamp illustrates the incredible modernity of his creations.

Drawing from Verner Panton's archives, Verpan decided to produce this lamp from the original sketches. This is the first time this design is marketed. With its simple, linear look, the Reflect table lamp is an excellent example of Verner Panton's ingenuity in manipulating light.

The light source is located in the base. The light is projected upwards, it is reflected by the white surface of the large inclined disk to create a clear but diffuse aura in all its environment. The lighting is perfect: functional and not blinding. With its imposing size and a clean, graphic design, the Reflect lamp has a sculptural presence. Its strong personality makes it a centerpiece in your interior.

Verner Panton

Verner Panton (1926-1998) was an inspirational and colourful personality. A unique person with a special sense of colours, shapes, light function and room.

Verner Panton studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before going on to work at Arne Jacobsen’s architectural practice. He set up his own design studio in 1955.

Over the course of his career, Verner Panton introduced a series of modern lamps and furniture with personalities unlike any of his Scandinavian contemporaries. With a remarkable faith in the unlimited possibilities of the form, he worked successfully to create a new set of theories about how lighting and furniture should work and how they should influence its surrounding.
