The idea behind the creation of Brown Cotton cushion covers is ecological: to aesthetically enhance the naturally brown appearance of unbleached cotton.
Brown Cotton was spun and woven by hand, using far fewer chemical resources than traditional cotton. The result is an extremely convincing tactile quality.
Each cushion cover features a discreet pattern with traditional details dyed using natural coloring agents such as indigo, madder root and pomegranate bark.
