Moby 1 & Moby 2 Karakter – Due Madsen & Trampedach

Moby is a sculptural table lamp. The void in the main element houses the light source. When switched on, Moby diffuses a soft light that highlights its balanced blend of organic and geometric lines.

The two designers run separate studios in Copenhagen, but their shared taste for plaster, a soft, delicate material generally used for fine art and prototypes, led to this collaboration and the creation of Moby.

The lamp was originally molded in plaster, but has been translated into a durable, matte acrylic material with a similar silky expression.
