Now available in a low-back version, the Doze high-back armchair is Muuto's first large lounge chair.Β
Designed by long-standing Muuto collaborators Anderssen & Voll, the Doze has a contemporary silhouette thanks to the dynamic lines and curves of its large backrest and armrests. These features give it a strong personality and added comfort for the user. The slender steel legs are contrastingly light.
Referring to Scandinavian design classics with hints of the 70s, Doze becomes a contemporary version of the typical lounge chair.
The Doze ottoman can be added to the armchair, echoing the clear, contemporary lines of the design and providing the perfect complement. The Doze ensemble is ideal for meeting spaces, whether lounges, private residences or hotel projects. The armchair and ottoman can be customized with a wide range of textile coverings to complement any residential or professional space.

Anderssen & Voll
Anderssen & Voll are among the most prominent and successful Norwegian designers. They have been named both Norwegian and Scandinavian designers of the year and have received numerous international awards for their work within furniture, lighting, and home accessories.
On Their Design Philosophy: βA good product builds and expands on tradition while simultaneously breaking the rules of said tradition. Modifications and elements of surprise, even changes that are less radical, stimulate thought and reflection, also who may not hold a particular interest in design. This tiny second of reflection is the window of opportunity where we can communicate with the users and thatβs what we strive to tap into.β
The long-standing studio: The studio of Andersson & Voll is located in the heart of Oslo, housed in one of the oldest buildings in the area dating back to 1802 β a farm structure-cum-studio located next to the beautiful river of Akerselva, an area that is home to several design studios and art schools.
On Scandinavian Design: βScandinavian design isnβt merely a label to place onto products β itβs a commitment by Muuto to let the brand grow dynamically in companionship with the emerging ideas and concerns of young Scandinavian designers. The term functions as an invitation, a challenge, and a motivating element to us as designers.β
