Having a familiar sleeping environment will give your child a sense of security for years to come. Start by using a bed with a raised base and high ends.
As your child grows and starts to stand up, you can lower the base. When your child is ready to get on all fours and get out of bed on his or her own, you can remove one section of the barrier and, later, the other.
You can quickly and easily transform the cot into a magnificent junior bed by adding the junior extension pieces, which can be purchased separately.
The cot bed installed in the position with one side open must not be used as an extra bed next to the parents' bed. The bed is not approved as an extra bed.

The Natural mattress is handmade in Devon, UK, by Naturalmat. A layer of organic coconut fiber and natural latex forms the core of the mattress, padded on each side with organic wool, to create a firm, flat, breathable sleeping surface.The mattress materials are naturally breathable and self-ventilating to help your little ones regulate their body temperature, for a long, comfortable night's sleep. The mattress is a comfortable, two-sided torsion mattress suitable for babies and toddlers. For younger children, we recommend the coir side, which offers firmer support for their young bodies. As they grow, turn the mattress over to expose the latex side, which offers softer support for their growing bones. The mattress features a calico inner cover and a quilted outer cover made from a blend of wool and cotton, tightly woven to make them naturally flame-retardant, without the need for chemical treatment.
The quilted cotton cover is removable and washable at 40 degrees. It has an all-natural treatment that makes it resistant to bed bugs and dust mites, perfect for children with allergies. The mattress is equipped with a safety zipper without a pull cord, to prevent children from opening the mattress cover. To open the zipper, use an accessory (e.g. a paper clip). Remember to remove the aid after use. When your baby's mattress arrives, you may detect a woolly smell, which will disappear over time. We recommend airing baby mattresses once a week. Once the bedding has been washed, try to let it rest for a good hour before putting on new sheets. Open the window to promote air circulation. Two sides of different hardness, for optimum adaptation to the child's weight. Coconut fiber reduces pressure points and provides uniform support.

Give your Classic crib an even softer, cozier feel with this crib bumper. The soft cotton material protects your child from small bumps, cold draughts and external noise and stimuli. This creates a soothing atmosphere that will help your child fall asleep more easily. It's made from organic cotton, and thanks to the airy fleece filling, the bed remains breathable. To ensure optimum sleep quality and natural temperature regulation in the bed, the bumper pad covers only one half of the bed, ensuring stable air flow. If you want the bumper to cover the whole bed, two bumper pads can be attached. The bumper pad is fastened with clips and can be positioned as required. The Classic crib base has two settings, and the cot bumper can be used with both settings. Each crib bumper comes in a matching drawstring bag that can be used as a carryall for many practical purposes.
