Rar is a collection of easy-to-live-with sofas and armchair, suitable for a multitude of interiors and personal styles. The name Rar means "tender" in Danish, in reference to its excellent seating comfort. The collection includes an armchair, a two-seater sofa and a spacious three-seater sofa, all of which feature a modest yet fair design that allows Rar to find its place in any room.
The internal structure is solid wood, covered with polyurethane foam and luxurious textiles. This minimalist design highlights a few refined details, such as the careful junction between the armrests and backrest.
The Rar collection is available in 3 complementary coverings: classic, timeless Omaha cognac leather, modern, dark gray Re-Born fabric and Venezia, a sophisticated off-white fabric.

Simon Legald
Simon Legald graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. He has worked on the development of numerous products from small to large scale. Legald's designs are the result of an exchange between craft and industry. In his work, he emphasizes the structure of the product, which becomes intrinsic to the design.
"Honesty is what makes a product intelligible and defines its functionality. If you understand the product, then there's no need for explanations. The very purpose of my designs is to be bought and used. So they have to meet functional needs as well as psychological and aesthetic ones. For me, simplicity is what describes the true identity of objects. In my designs, I try not to add superfluous details. All this gives the products a simple, honest expression."
